Patient portal

Overview

Give patients secure access to their workshop portal.

Prerequisites and access

Use an active account whose role and plan include this feature. Options not allowed by the role or plan are not displayed.

Steps

1. Enable and configure Portal Settings.
2. Create or reset the patient portal account from the patient record.
3. Send the workshop-specific portal link and ask the patient to keep credentials private.

Expected result

The change is stored in the active workshop and becomes visible only to authorized users.

Edge cases

• Confirm the active workshop before changing data.
• Do not create duplicates when the record already exists.
• Features can be hidden when the plan, configuration, or permissions do not enable them.

Troubleshooting

Refresh the page, clear filters, verify role and plan access, then contact a superadmin with the time, workshop, and exact error message.
